For some reason, this is a favorite among men. Both men and women like it, but when compared to other paintings, men always seem to favorite it.
This painting was shown in SOLO exhibitions at the Center for Performing Arts in Mountain View, CA, Kaleid Gallery in San Jose, CA, Norton Gallery in Palo Alto, CA, James Irvine Gallery at Stanford University and various other group exhibits. It appeared on TV in the show "Talk Art" and in the show "Sport of motherhood".
About Mariana Barnes
Mariana Barnes is a self taught, award winning artist who has been painting since 1987. Her unique and recognizable style has appeared in numerous San Francisco Bay Area galleries, publications and venues, including TV shows, one of which “Talk Art: Mosaic patterns of life” also aired in Manhattan, New York. She has also exhibited her work in Los Angeles and Sonoma, California, and has collectors from around the US, Argentina and Australia. She has also heard from fans in Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Singapore and Brazil. She is represented by KALEID Gallery in San Jose, CA and the Pacific Art League Gallery in Palo Alto, CA....
